Shopping for Your Home

Once you are ready to find your dream home,
these tips can help identify
the property that is right for you!

First, get to know the neighborhoods and towns you like.

Take a walk or drive to scout out the neighborhoods, complexes, subdivisions, and town centers that interest you. Being in the areas you are considering will give you a feel for what it would be like to live there.

Second, narrow your search.

Once you have chosen available properties that interest you, I will make appointments so we can visit them together. I also will tell you about investment potential for each of the properties, including criteria that may affect a property’s current or future value and its predicted short and long-term resale value.

Third, make an offer that is likely to be accepted.

Once you have chosen the property you want to purchase, I will partner with you in developing an offer that is likely to be successful. I will investigate estimated expenses associated with the property so that you and I may consider them when deciding on an offer price. I also will draft your offer to ensure you have an advantage over other buyers’ offers.
